This project forms part of OHAL’s wider commitment to providing high-quality, energy-efficient affordable homes across Orkney’s remote communities.
The development comprises a series of contemporary single-storey homes, arranged with careful attention to landscaping, orientation, and accessibility. Designed with local needs in mind, each dwelling was constructed to meet rigorous building standards, with robust insulation, air-tight construction, and sustainable heating solutions to ensure long-term energy efficiency and low running costs for tenants.
Our scope of work included full-site development—from groundworks and infrastructure to construction, fit-out, and external finishes. The project was delivered on time and to a high standard, maintaining our longstanding relationship with OHAL and our reputation for dependable, community-minded construction.
The finished scheme at Sands Park blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape while offering secure, modern homes that support community cohesion and future-proof living.
