The extension features a distinctive clerestory roof structure, drawing natural light into the building through a series of elegant laminated timber arches and expansive roof glazing. Externally, the design complements the original building while standing out through its contemporary materials and refined detailing. Internally, the exposed timber arches and generous use of natural light create a warm and welcoming environment, demonstrating the potential of modern timber construction in civic architecture.
